BSO orchestrates a food drive

The Boston Symphony Orchestra will hold a food drive at Symphony Hall in conjunction with Boston Symphony Orchestra performances on Friday, March 27, at 1:30 p.m. and Saturday, March 28, at 8 p.m., to benefit the Greater Boston Food Bank. Cash donations to the BSO’s food drive can also be made by visiting the BSO’s website at bso.org. The BSO’s food drive is taking place in connection with “Orchestras Feeding America,” a nationwide project of the League of American Orchestras, which represents the nation’s professional, volunteer, and youth orchestras. At present, 236 orchestras representing all 50 states are involved in the “Orchestras Feeding America” program.
